February Beauty Favorites + A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Can you guys believe it’s already March? It feels like it was just Christmas! Since February is officially over, I wanted to do a February beauty favorites to show you guys some of the goodies I couldn’t get enough of this past month. I’ve been in and out of Ricky’s (a famous beauty supply store in NYC) the entire month of Feb. and picked up a ton of new beauty products. I also plan on doing a Ricky’s beauty haul soon, so stay tuned for that 👀

Keep reading for my top beauty faves from the month of February and head to the very end for a very special announcement 😍💄🙌

1. Bounce Curl Light Creme Gel

If you’re a curly girl like me, I can pretty much guarantee this gel will be your best friend. I never used to be a fan of gels in the past, but this product has completely changed my opinion on them. It’s extremely lightweight and smells SO GOOD! Not only that, it gives you defined curls and a flexible hold. Bounce Curl also has an incredible hair tea and hair vitamins I was lucky enough to receive from their owner Marian. It’s paraben, sulfate and silicone free, AKA it’s amazing for your hair. I can’t stress enough how much I love this stuff!

2. Mario Badescu Cucumber Lotion

I’ve tried many different toners in my life, but this one has quickly become my favorite. It’s odorless, so it doesn’t have that alcohol-y smell other toners have. Mario Badescu’s products are honestly top notch and keep my skin so fresh and so clean, clean (😜) on the regular. It truly refreshes my skin and keeps my overall skin tone on point. I’d definitely recommend giving this baby a try if you’re looking for a good toner or something to decrease dark spots on the face.

3. Alterna Caviar Dry Shampoo

I had never heard of the Caviar brand before using this dry shampoo and I have to say, I’m a fan. It’s free of parabens and sulfates, and is a super quick refresher for your hair. I personally use it as a volumizer because I love, love, LOVE big hair. It comes in powder form, so after my hair is completely dry I’ll place some on my scalp, then fluff out my hair at the roots until I achieve the volume I want!

4. NYX Lingerie Matte Finish Liquid Lipstick

I’m a huge fan of nude, liquid lipsticks and after purchasing this NYX goodie, I immediately fell in love. I had to buy two other colors after this one because I loved it so much. The lipstick goes on so smooth, and it’s not drying what so ever. The matte finish is incredible and the colors are so stunning! Last, but not least, it lasts ALL NIGHT (I’m serious!) Give it a try if you’re a lipstick kind of girl and let me know what you think.

5. Jean Pierre Moisturizing Lip Mask

I can’t believe I had never used a lip mask before this one! I’M OFFICIALLY HOOKED. This one comes with 5 masks, so you can use it all throughout the week, or spread them out and use them a couple times a month. You leave the mask on for 20 minutes, then take it off and rub the leftover residue on your lips for extra moisture. I kid you not when I say my lips have never felt more soft, smooth or moisturized in my life. This does something a chapstick or oil simply cant.

6. ISH Face Primer

If you’ve been following my blog, you know my go-to primer for some time now has been the Dermalogica Skin Perfect Primer. These days, however, I’m absolutely loving this ISH primer. It’s a silicone-free formula that is so lightweight you barely even feel it on your face. It smoothes and corrects my skin to perfection, and the best part is, I love wearing it alone just as much as I love wearing it under makeup! It just gives my skin that seamless glow.

7. L.A. Girl Pro Concealer

My top two concealers from this past month have definitely been the L.A. Girl and the Nars Creamy Concealer. This was the one I chose to include for this post because in my opinion it has better coverage and doesn’t crease as easily. I’ve steadily been transitioning into using this concealer every single day, and I’ve fallen in love with it. You can also use one of their darker concealers for contouring, and their lighter ones for highlighting. These babies are great for just about anything!

Have you guys tried any of these products? If so what did you think? Drop em’ in the comments below! xx ❤️

  1. It’s great that you also include information about the ingridients of the products (like being paraben free). Most bloggers just say they like it, it smells nice etc nd leave at that. Great content keep it up! xx
