I recently received a CoverGirl Outlast VoxBox from my friends at Influenster and wanted to share my thoughts with you guys. For those of you that don’t know, Influenster is an amazing online space where brands send complimentary goodies to bloggers for reviewing purposes! When I got my VoxBox in the mail it felt like a lovely little Christmas present. I couldn’t wait to open it. Here are my thoughts on each product.

The minute I applied this powder to my face after finishing my makeup, I knew I adored it. It was extremely lightweight (something that’s very important to me in a powder) and it blended into my skin like a glove instead of sitting right on top of it. The finish was indeed matte, so it’s perfect for my ladies who love that matte makeup look. The color they sent me was 850, medium to deep and it was a flawless fit to my skin tone. I wore it for a full 24 hours and by the time I was settled in and ready to take off my makeup, I noticed it kept my look completely in tact. Throughout messy eating, a rainy day and occasionally touching my face, it looked like I had just applied my makeup.
I’m absolutely O B S E S S E D with this concealer. First impression the moment I squeezed it out of the tube was that the coverage was going to be incredible, and I was right! The consistency was thick, but not heavy and it blended right into my skin similarly to the finishing powder. I used it under my eyes and on a few trouble spots on my face. It completely concealed my problem areas and brightened up my under eyes to perfection. Just like the powder, it lasted the majority of the day, but I did notice a tiny bit of creasing halfway through. The super soft nozzle made for an easy application and I loved the idea of not having to use a wand. My concealer color: 840, medium.
The color and gloss is a two-step formula with a base color on one end and a lip gloss on the other. I was a huge fan of the base because it wasn’t too shimmery or shiny. The gloss probably wouldn’t be my first choice when it comes to lip color, mostly because I’m not a gloss kind of girl. I usually avoid wearing lip glosses because I find them sticky and problematic for all-day wear. The base color had a matte finish which I loved, and it last until around half the day, but the gloss was a bit uncomfortable. The color however, in sizzling chocolate was to die for. I love a good deep purple and it smelled great!
